Hi, I’m Gabi!

I’ve been doing hair since I was 19. Now at 39, my journey has taken me through nearly every corner of the beauty world — from high-end salons like Juan Juan and Mauro in the Rodeo Drive Collection, to LA Fashion Week, Santa Monica, Venice, Marina del Rey… even a fun stop on the TV show Split Ends.

But eventually, the fast-paced salon life caught up with me. My health began to suffer, and I knew something had to shift. So I stepped away from the hustle and into something more intentional.

I spent a year backpacking and living abroad through Europe and Southeast Asia — with most of my time in Indonesia. Along the way, I became certified as a Birth and Postpartum Doula, a Prenatal Yoga Teacher, and a Fiber Artist — creating my own knit and crochet wear designs (which you’ll find in my shop!). I also deepened my connection to healing through Aromatherapy, Movement, Reiki, and Sound Therapy.

Now, I’ve birthed a beautiful family of my own. With that came a calling — toward something quieter, slower, and more aligned with nature.

We broke up, salon life and I.

It’s not me… it is you.

I’ve since let go of harsh chemicals and stepped into a wellness-centered, chemical-free lifestyle grounded in ritual and soulful care.

That’s how Sacred Roots Studio was born.

I specialize in supporting those dealing with scalp and hair concerns — alopecia, postpartum hair loss, psoriasis, or that all-too-common feeling of “something’s just off with my scalp.”
